He first stepped into the spotlight as one half of the Hip-Hop duo Black Diamond, delivering sharp lyrics and unforgettable performances. But after the tragic loss of his groupmate Arthur “ImFamous T” Tips, Ron’s artistry took a deeper turn, giving birth to the introspective, bold, and soul-laced sound that defines Ron Royal today.
Partnering with producer KÜL KOLD, he shaped a sound that blends raw Hip-Hop, smooth R&B, and the emotional pull of soul music layered with harmonies, live instrumentation, and real-life truth. His music doesn’t stick to one theme rather it evolves with him. Whether it’s about perseverance, love, loss, loyalty, desire, or history, Ron creates from life, and life is always moving.
But Ron Royal is not just a lyricist. He’s also been rocking crowds as a DJ for over a decade, driven by a deep appreciation for masters of the craft like DJ Jazzy Jeff, Technician The DJ, DJ Shakim, DJ Frosty, DJ B-Lord, DJ Rockin Rod, and Sounds Unlimited Disco. What began as admiration grew into passion, and today Ron brings that same energy and care to DJing private events, weddings, concerts, school functions, and community gatherings—anywhere people come together to celebrate, connect, and create memories.
Never one to wait for opportunity, Ron decided to create it. He founded his own label, Sound of REIGN Entertainment, and signed himself as its first artist.
